5-Week Introduction to Art Course
5 sessions, once a week for 5 weeks
STARTING SEPTEMBER 2024
Have you always wanted to learn to draw and paint, but are worried that everyone else in the class will be really good?! Or perhaps it’s been a long time since you last picked up a brush and you’d like to go over the basics again. Or you dabble at home but you’d like some good quality, helpful tuition to fill in any gaps in your knowledge and broaden your artistic knowledge and skills. Well this course is for you!
In our Introduction to Art course we start from scratch and teach you the basic principles and techniques you need to know in order to become confident at drawing and painting. And we’ll have lots of fun along the way! Each session is packed with information and exercises that will deepen your understanding of art and help you practice the key skills you need. And you’ll gradually build up a folder of helpful course notes and examples that you can refer back to at any time.
Once you’ve completed this course you can transfer across onto any of our mixed-ability courses and workshops to continue developing your skills and pursuing your love of art. Small class sizes, refreshments provided, and all materials are included in the price.
